GENERAL MAINTENANCE (On-going)

• Emergency Preparedness projects
• Clear brush in LP Corral (move to edge of ravine)
• Clear brush behind Red Barn
• Clear brush for defensible space – esp. Red Barn and Pavilion

• Put gravel, drainage rocks, or some other material in the most slippery muddy areas on the forest trail.

PASTURE MANAGER TO-DO LIST BEFORE A MOVE

• Walk or ride the fence line to check that is it in good repair
• Move, re-charge & turn on the chargers as needed
• Check the gates for function; close for move
• Put a salt block in place
• Clean and check the water trough to make sure it is functioning.
• Put bucket with spare halter by the gate
• Bring container/bucket with herd description to the most appropriate gate
• After move, check fences and electricity while horses are in this pasture
• After move, check water in pasture while horses are there
• If needed, trim back trees around water tank
