\n- Membership Issues<\/b>\n
\n- Conversation with Associate Member Michael Barglow<\/span>\n
\n- Michael Barglow attended the meeting and shared his viewpoint of the <\/span>recent incident in which he took and rode the wrong horse from private property adjacent to OHA.<\/span><\/li>\n
- The Board discussed all information regarding the incident.<\/span><\/li>\n
- The motion was made and passed to change Michael\u2019s membership status to Riding Partner. The Board requests clarification under the Riding Partner application as to who is the responsible Proprietary Member. \u00a0Michael will have the option to reapply after one year for Associate Membership and would be subject to the usual interview process for Associate Membership at that time. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Status of open spaces<\/span>\n
\n- At the last Board meeting in April there were 6 open membership spaces.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Sonny accepted 2<\/span>nd<\/span> space.<\/span><\/li>\n
- We believe there are 5 spaces to fill. \u00a0Will have Sarah Cohen, as Membership Secretary confirm the open number.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Nomination for Honorary membership<\/span>\n
\n- Discussed an Honorary membership for Fred Goff as longtime member, prior president for continued involvement in OHA.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Motion was made to nominate Fred Goff for honorary membership. \u00a0Voted on and passed by the Board.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Also, as an FYI, condolences were sent to Fred on behalf of OHA following Edie\u2019s passing.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
<\/p>\n
\n- EBMUD Report<\/b>\n
\n- Status of AGP – Not heard any further status of AGP from EBMUD per Wakean.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Capital Improvements: \u00a0Not yet approved by EBMUD.<\/span><\/li>\n
- This is the latest ever (that we can remember) of EBMUD not yet approving AGP. \u00a0We think they are focused on the fire break issue. Board asked Wakean to try to pin EBMUD down to get clarification of how to handle Capital Improvements for credit if AGP not yet approved.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Wakean said we could mow on our own but not after June 1 (start of fire season).<\/span><\/li>\n
- Mowing update per Wakean: \u00a0did one thistle mowing but more Italian thistle coming in now. \u00a0Thistle in the Upper Sullivan needs mowing \u2013 will see about doing that in mid-June but needs EBMUD supervision.<\/span><\/li>\n
- So far approximately 16 hours of mowing has been done.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Dave Curto deeded the ATV to Wakean. \u00a0OHA will assist Wakean with expenses of maintaining the ATV, since he uses it for the benefit of the organization. \u00a0Expenses for the ATV such as insurance, maintenance should be budgeted in the 2020 budget. Diane to add this in.<\/span><\/li>\n
- There will be Tule reed clearing work and dredging done by EBMUD in the Pond. \u00a0Wakean will get timing from Kerry so can let membership know when this is being scheduled. \u00a0May be at the time when horses are in the Pond Pasture. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

\n- Diane working on cleaning up budget category issues:<\/span>\n
\n- PG&E wasn\u2019t paid for 15 months because was set-up on a recurring payment on someone else\u2019s account that had been closed. \u00a0Diane working on getting this all cleaned up.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Diane will work on setting up a treasurer-specific email address. \u00a0Diane will work with Gary.<\/span><\/li>\n
- Will clean up all recurring payments and put process in place.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Diane continuing to track OHA\u2019s non-profit status request through IRS: \u00a0no further update<\/span><\/li>\n

- This would include Pavilion Stalls and the Old stall also.<\/span><\/li>\n
- REMINDER:<\/b> \u00a0issue was raised about making sure that when stalls are used to clean out the shavings better, especially when shavings put out in the gravel area. \u00a0These shavings should not left in gravel area to be ground into surface.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Drainage at USR gate<\/span>\n
\n- Kerry (EBMUD) to look at the drainage issue to see if they can address when they regrade the fire road for repair.<\/span><\/li>\n
