Hello OHA!
Reminder: The General Membership meeting is August 29th at 4pm. Location TBA.
8/7 Upper Sullivan: Lisa will move the herd through Pond to Sullivan.
8/29 Forest Meadow: Herd will move through 3 gates from Sullivan to Forest Meadow.
Due to drought, feeding will start on August 26th.
Allison will have the sign-ups out soon.
You will be asked to sign up for extra feedings as we are starting early.
Please be sure to sign up.
A) Hay delivery will begin on August 19th.
Many extra hands will be needed to unload the hay, so please, please volunteer!
Doug will be giving out more information as the date approaches.
B) On August 15th, 9am, Sallie and Michael will be mounting our beautiful new OHA signs on either end of El Toyonal. They want volunteers with strength and \or post-hole digging experience. Please contact Sallie or Michael to confirm.
C) As the fire season is well upon us, people are needed to clear brush and dry weeds from :
1) The Ring Pasture
2) Around The Red Barn
3) The Pavilion
In case of a fire, having these areas clear will be vitally important. It is also a great way to complete work hours!
